Researchers at the University of Wollogong in Australia, have created a BioPen that could give surgeons the ability to build custom tailored osteo-implants during surgical procedures. In future, surgeons could mend damaged bone and cartilage with the stroke of a BioPen and reduce the need for joint replacements.
