In a study by Cellink researchers, a full thickness skin tissue model was bioprinted. In this study,
the dermis was bioprinted using primary dermal fibroblasts embedded in GelMA based bioink, and the epidermis, containing a high concentration of keratinocytes embedded in collage methacrylate, was deposited on top of the dermis.
