Product Description:
Bone tissue is composed of two mineral and organic phases. The bone mineral phase includes between 60% to 70% of the total weight of dry bone. Calcium phosphate bioceramics have particular importance for bone repair due to their structural similarity to the bone mineral phase. Mineral© is a specific bioink, which uses minerals similar to natural bone tissue to help stimulate bone formation in the early stages.
The printed scaffold is made of 100% ceramic compounds and the printed scaffold is gradually degraded and eventually replaced with new bone.
