The structure of natural bone tissue consists of two parts, mineral and organic. Hydroxyapatite with a chemical formula of Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 is the most important component of the mineral phase, which reinforce the organic part (Collagen). Based on this, the research team of OmidAfarinan Company has designed the Apatite© as a specific bioink for hard tissue engineering, especially bone tissue. One of the unique features of this bioink is the uniform distribution of HA nanoparticles in the scaffold produced by the 3D bioprinting method, which stimulates osteogenesis. This product has also succeeded in obtaining nanoscale certification from the National Nanotechnology Institute.
