Hydrogels are one of the main groups of bio-inks for tissue engineering purposes because of their highly hydrated structure, low toxicity, and similarity to the extracellular matrix. Accordingly, Omid Afarinan Company (3D-Bio), has developed a bio-ink based on gelatin and some other natural polymers that can be used for further studies in this field. Soft-Ink®, with the lowest batch to batch variation, is compatible with various cell type of soft tissues and also can be mixed with biological molecules such as proteins, growth factors, and pharmaceutical molecules
