Researchers have used the digital light processing (DLP) printing technique to develop dexamethasone-loaded punctal plugs. In this study, dexamethasone was used as an anti-inflammatory steroid drug in the treatment of corneal diseases. Punctal plugs with different drug loadings were fabricated using polyethylene glycol diacrylate (PEGDA) and polyethylene glycol 400 (PEG 400) to create a semi-interpenetrating network (semi-IPN).
