Korean researchers have designed a 3D printed composite scaffold that can be combined simultaneously with bone grafts and fixtures to minimize the cost and duration of dental implant surgery. Further, by using 3D printing technology in making this implant, it could be customized as a frame and designed to fit well in the defect area.
