Gastric wall injury is one of the most common diseases in digestive tract and can lead to surgery if left untreated. Researchers from China’s Tsinghua University have developed a micro bioprinting robot that can treat gastric wounds from inside the body itself. After reaching to the specific site,  it can actually fold down into a skinnier version of itself in order to complete in situ 3D printing to treat the wound.
