In a collaboration between the Geneva Foundation (Geneva), the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU), commercial space company TechShot, Inc, and 3D printer manufacturer nScrypt, Inc, the first bioprinting project in space about the engineering of the human meniscus is accomplished. The bioprinter developed in this program is the first one with the capability to print in the microgravity environment. This project results may lead to the successful bioprinting of various tissues and organs that encounters difficulties on Earth
